Jamba Juice MIS Solution

Jamba Juice, the company that brought us the delicious Berry UpBEET Smoothie wasn’t feeling so upbeat about their infrastructure when they approached Cluster Networks. The challenge was that Jamba Juice relied on MPLS technology from EarthLink for connectivity and security between locations. Unfortunately, it wasn’t only expensive, but extremely cumbersome to perform any moves, adds, or changes. Some locations even paid over $1,000 per month for just 7 MB of bandwidth. Even worse, service provider outages would impact hundreds of sites across the country and interrupt credit card processing, and other critical store apps for weeks at a time. Needless to say, this resulted in a significant loss of business. So when Jamba Juice challenged us with finding a more reliable and cost-effective solution, it really got our juices flowing. First, we sent in the account team to evaluate Jamba Juice’s needs, with one goal in mind: to gain an in-depth understanding of their business drivers, and translate them into a brilliant technical solution. The challenge was to create store technology standards that were not only reliable, but also scalable and cost effective. In order to do so, we had to roll up our sleeves and bring our skills and ingenuity to the table.

600+ Jamba Juice locations are now seamlessly unified throughout the country and our client and their customers couldn't be happier.

The result was a cleverly-designed, global network for Jamba Juice that would not only be extremely resilient, but also scalable, unifying an astounding 600 + locations around the country – a seemingly impossible task. Our engineers wasted no time in engineering, deploying, and implementing a smart managed infrastructure services (MIS) model that would deliver remarkably enhanced security, greater performance, bandwidth, and resiliency at significantly lower costs. The pilot project was a complete success, and the Jamba Juice management team approved the country-wide rollout of Cluster Networks’ MIS solution across 650 sites. So the next time you’re getting a Peach Mango Smoothie at Jamba Juice, think of the engineers at Cluster Networks that helped make it all possible.
